The School-wide Book Fair will take place in the Library starting Monday, October 19^th.  Parents will be able to shop with their child on Monday night (10/19) from 4-7 pm if interested.


We will begin the story Dig, Dig, Digging in Reading.  We will be talking about how machines help people. We will be practicing the sound /t/ for the letter Tt and the skill classifying and categorizing.

For Math we will finish Topic 16 and begin Topic 1:  One to Five.  Students will learn how to read, write, and count numbers from 1-5.  Be sure to review the daily practice pages that your child brings home in his/her folder! 

We will participate in the Great Shake Out Earthquake Drill on Thursday, October 15^th.  Students will “Drop, Cover, and Hold On”, which is the recommended appropriate action to reduce injury during earthquakes.
