This month’s AR “Book Buddy” recording sheet and books are due back to school on Tuesday, February 28^th.  The goal for the month is 15 stories/books.  Students who meet the monthly goal will receive a Pizza Hut coupon!

The Kindergarten reward for our Spartan Pride behavior goal for the month of February will be a “Seuss Reward” held on Friday, March 3^rd.  Students will rotate through rooms to participate in some Dr. Seuss activities.

Friday, March 3^rd is NSE’s Read Across America Day in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Throughout the week we will be reading some great books by Dr. Seuss.  Some Bloomsburg University students will visit our classroom on 3/3 to read.

In Reading we will begin an informational text titled If You Could Go to Antarctica, by author Fay Robinson.  We will work with short and long /e/ sounds and the letter Ee and practice the comprehension skill, classify and categorize.

In Math we will be continuing with Understanding Addition, Topic 7.  Review daily practice pages and continue to practice joining sets and counting how many altogether.
