April 8- 12
For Reading we will begin the story The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper. It is a classic fantasy story, and we will be talking about how trains move. We will be learning about the comprehension skill, plot.
In math, we will finish our unit on subtraction.
Report cards will go home on Wednesday, April 10. Please sign and return the envelope. The report card is yours to keep.
There is a $1 Spartan Dress Down on Friday, April 12.
The PTO Spring Fling Chinese Auction will be held on April 27th and 28th. Our class’ theme basket will be “Knoebels Fun”. Donations are due to the teacher by Friday, April 12. If a family would rather not shop for a donation, monetary donations will be accepted and Mrs. Kaminsky will shop for items for the basket. There is no value set and you can be creative!! Thank you in advance for your support!
Book orders are due April 22. This will be our last book order due to the Book Fair in May.
There is no school on Friday, April 19.
