Friday, November 7^th all NSE students attended an assembly in the gym titled “Mikayla’s Voice”.  The program was about Inclusion and was designed to help educate and inspire children to embrace individuals of all abilities.  Take some time to talk with your child about what he/she has learned.

This week will read the story Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman in Reading.  We will be discussing hibernation and will learn to differentiate between real and make believe.

In Math we will be working with Topic 3: Six to Ten.  Boys and girls will learn how to read, write, and count numbers from 6-10 and show numbers in different ways. 

Start practicing counting from 1 to 100.
