- letters and sounds

In Reading we will read the story, Abuela, by author Arthur Dorros.  It will be the last of our “adventure” stories for Unit 4.  It will be a fiction story about a city adventure and the boys and girls will learn a few Spanish words.

In Math we will be continuing with Understanding Addition, Topic 7.  Review daily practice pages and continue to practice joining sets and counting how many altogether. 

Kindergarten registration for the upcoming, 2018-2019 school year will be held the week of March 12- 16.  Registration is open to all residents of the NS School District.  Please pass along this information to anyone with children ready to begin Kindergarten in the fall.  Appointments should be scheduled with the office.

The PTO Spring Fling Chinese Auction will be held on April 14^th and 15^th.  Our class’ theme basket will be “Ice Cream Sundae”. Donations are due to the teacher by Friday, April 3rd.  If a family would rather not shop for a donation, monetary donations will be accepted and Mrs. Kaminsky will shop for items for the basket.  There is no value set and you can be creative!! If your child brings in an item for the basket, they will receive a coupon for a free dress down day. Thank you in advance for your support!
